Location
of the event:
The Open European Blokart
Championships 2011 is planned to take place on Ocktober 7,8
and the 9th at the beach near Paal 8.

The transportation oppertunities will be in
care of the organisation, this only
concerns the Blokart stuff to/from the boat to the beach (trailer).This only on
the day of arrival and departure.
(on the beach
there will be a trailer, where you have the opportunity to store your blokart stuff
in for the whole weekend.)
- The people must
arrange own transport to their accomodation/ beach.

pay within 21 days after registration, otherwise you will be removed of the
pilots list, and have to register again!!

Information
Briefing
*At
the start of each Racing Day, there will be a briefing. The Racing Director and
BCN will do this in both Dutch and English. The briefing will be announced by a
horn-signal in combination with a flag with a yellow marker / stripe. Extra
briefings will be announced in the same way.
Championship
setup
*Racing
will be open in two classes: Production en Performance.
*Within Production en Performance we project 5 weight categories:
-Fly: less than 55 kg
-Light:
from 55 kg than 70 kg
-Middle: from 70 kg till 85 kg
-Heavy: from 85 kg till 100 kg
-1Ton: 100 kg and more.

There must
be at least 6 participants in a category, if there be less than
7 participants the category will be removed!!!!
Starting procedure
*The starting procedure will be announced by a warning light during 20 seconds
* The factual starting procedure is a simple 2 minutes ‘countdown’ to the start.
During this count down, a horn will sound on fixed moments.
2 minutes before start; 1 minute before start; at 50 – 40 – 30 – 20 and 10
seconds before start; from then every second. The start is a continuous signal.>please check
here <
* Passing the starting line before T=0 is regarded being a false start. The
Blokarter will be pointed out by a juror and is obliged to turn and pass the
starting line again.
* The race duration is 12 minutes, including the starting procedure.
Finish
* After 12 minutes, everyone will be flagged for race-end with a chequered flag.
Scoring and positions
* 1st place wins 1 point, 2nd place 2 points, 3rd = 3, 4th = 4 and so on. Due to
a judges ruling, a participant could get a change of position.
* 1 discard per every 4 races. The Championship
will be held over 8 races per class/category.
* The Blokarter with the lowest total of point is the winner.
* In case of equal total scores after the 8 races in the championships, the
highest classifications will be counted: who scored the most positions 1, 2, 3
etcetera.

* For every weight category per class (production and Performance) there will be
a trophy available for positions 1, 2 and 3.
